Description: This position focuses on large-scale datacenter construction, requiring the management of cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) directly at the client site. The role involves detailed planning, critical path analysis, and maintaining compliance with owner policies.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Develop and oversee detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Lead Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) with discipline leads and vendors to align execution.
- Establish and monitor the critical path; analyze and report progress throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure delivery within scope and schedule.
- Monitor project risks and create contingency plans to mitigate delays.
- Ensure full compliance with Owner policies and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management AND 8+ years in data analysis/business intelligence OR 8+ years as a planner/scheduler (P6 or MS Project).
- PM Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Management.
- Industry Focus: Experience with Data Center construction programs (Preferred/Bonus).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and Earned Value Management.
- Soft Skills: Ability to present data from detailed to high-level depending on the audience.
